There’s no feeling quite like going on a trip and ending up in a hotel where everything is so luxurious that you feel like you’re a millionaire. Naturally these won’t come cheap, but they’ll lift your vacation up several levels and be worth every dime you’re spending on them.
And if you were looking to maximize this feeling of luxuriousness and wealth, here’s a few hotels out there that are considered some of the most luxurious in the world. Enjoy!
Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, Dubai
Dubai is known for its luxurious approach to pretty much everything, and this resort is probably the best example of that. Each of its 42 rooms has its own private swimming pool and wooden deck, and the resort also comes with a fully equipped fitness center and a high class gourmet restaurant, which allows you to eat your meals surrounded by flame torches in the dunes.
Four Seasons Hotel, Las Vegas
With all the luxurious hotels in Las Vegas, especially on the Strip, you’re probably wondering what makes this hotel so special. Well, for starters, it’s one of the very few hotels in the area that don’t have gambling games or allow smoking. That’s right, it’s a normal hotel in the middle of Las Vegas! Naturally it has everything else you’d expect like a spa, wonderful bars and fancy restaurants where you can eat.
Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi
If you’re looking for a luxurious experience and the feeling that money doesn’t mean a single thing, there’s few places as good as the hotel ran by the people that paid 117 million euros for Jack Grealish. The Palace cost about 3 billion dollars to build, and it has loads of useless stuff like over 1000 Swarovski chandeliers. The hotel also has a private marina, naturally. Loads of people have their own boat, guys.
Conrad Maldives, Rangali Island
If you’re into marine life, this hotel has a suite that puts you 16 feet below sea level in what is essentially a glass room. Naturally it also comes with all the other perks you’d expect from a luxurious suite like a butler, private chef and on-call fitness trainer. And also private jet skis, somehow.
Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas
Anything called “paradise” on the Bahamas is going to be a good time and this hotel – or actually hotel group since there’s five of them – is no different. If you go for the suite in The Royal hotel, you’ll be stuck on the 23rd floor with 10 rooms, a gold chandelier, a piano and your own private butler for the length of your stay.
Giraffe Manor, Kenya
You can probably guess from the name, but this luxurious hotel is all about giraffes. And it’s not a silly tourist trap either (well, sort of), because they’re working together with the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife to support the conservation of the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe. You can feed the giraffes from your balcony as they pass by, which seems like a nice bonus to have when you’re on a trip.
The Plaza, New York
New York is another one of those places on Earth where if you have the correct amount of money in your bank account, there’s no limit to the luxury you can find. The Plaza hotel has a champagne bar and spa, but the suite goes far beyond that: it has a chef’s kitchen, dining room for 12 guests, fitness room and white glove butler service.
