Pirangi Cashew Tree (found in Brazil)

This is one of the hugest cashew trees you can find in the world. It spreads to an area of about 2 acres and it is nearly 177 years old. You can find this pirangi cashew tree near Natal, Brazil. And also, it is believed to have been planted by some fishermen in 1888. They surely had no idea then that the tree would grow so huge and would cover almost the entire space, with the branches touching the ground. This cashew tree yields about 8000 fruits a year.
