Another country close to Iceland which has its own unique tradition is Sweden. This is also perhaps the cutest unique Xmas tradition globally too. Every year on Christmas Eve, Swedish families come together around TV sets to catch the show Donald Duck and His Friends Wish You a Merry Christmas. This is a special programme which is hosted live and contains clips from the 1930’s to the 1960’s.
